Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d)

At our location in Stockach – the gateway to Lake Constance –, we are looking for you to join our team as soon as possible or by arrangement. 

As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will develop intelligent algorithms for advanced multi-sensor detection systems. Working at the intersection of machine learning, embedded software, and sensor technology, you will help transform complex sensor data into reliable real-time detection capabilities.

• Develop and optimize AI-based object detection and sensor fusion algorithms
• Analyze complex sensor data and improve machine learning models
• Integrate and optimize software for embedded real-time systems
• Plan, coordinate, and support field tests and system validation activities
• Contribute to the development of secure and reliable software solutions
• Improve processes for AI training data generation and model evaluation
• Collaborate closely with software, systems, and test engineering teams
• Explore and apply state-of-the-art machine learning and data analysis methods

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
• Experience in machine learning, data analysis, or AI-based software development
• Strong programming skills in Python and C/C++
• Experience with embedded software and Linux-based operating systems
• Knowledge of sensor technologies or multi-sensor systems is an advantage
• Familiarity with modern development tools (e.g. GitLab, Jira, Confluence)
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style
• Willingness to travel for field testing and international collaboration
• Fluent written and spoken German and English
