System Test Engineer – Future Discipline Lead (m/w/d)

At our location in Stockach – the gateway to Lake Constance –, we are looking for you to join our team as soon as possible or by arrangement. 

As a System Test Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing system qualification and validation testing. Working closely with external test laboratories and service providers, you will help ensure that our products meet the highest quality and safety standards.
You will play an active role in shaping and further developing our testing capabilities while having the opportunity to grow into the role of Discipline Lead Testing, taking on technical leadership of the local testing team.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute system qualification and validation testing
• Coordinate external test laboratories and service providers for EMC, environmental, reliability, and mechanical testing
• Develop test strategies, validation concepts, and system-level acceptance criteria
• Support system integration, including the analysis, documentation, and evaluation of test results
• Assist with root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and quality requirements
• Collaborate closely with Hardware, Software, Systems Engineering, and external partners
• Continuously improve test methods, processes, and tools

• Coordinate the local testing team from a technical perspective
• Drive the development of test strategies, methods, and standards
• Support technical decision-making and promote knowledge sharing across the team

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• Several years of experience in system testing and the validation of complex technical systems
• Experience with qualification testing (e.g. EMC, environmental, reliability, or mechanical testing)
• Experience working with external test laboratories and certification bodies
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience in technical coordination or team leadership is an advantage
• Knowledge of relevant standards and certification processes is desirable
• Very good written and spoken German and English
